Kieryn Jeffrey

Our new bundle of joy has finally arrived: Kieryn Jeffrey Schmid 8lbs. 12 oz. and 19.5 inches long. He was born on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at 8:05 p.m.

We are finally a family of three. All the misery and complaining I have done over the past nine months was so worth it. I never thought I'd feel that way, but I do. Having a baby has been the greatest miracle ever and has brought so much joy to Jeff and I in the short time we have spent with him.

I went into labor at 5:30 in the morning and by noon I was making such little progress the doctor thought he might have to be a c-section baby. Little did we know, Kieryn was just playing stubborn like daddy and by 7:00 that evening he was ready to enter the world. Overall, labor went great and everything turned out better than expected. To Jeff and I he is absolutely perfect and we couldn't be happier!
